Q1 2011 Index performance
So first quarter of 2011 is in the books and it was interesting. So take a look at the performance.

Again, mid-cap stocks as defined by MDY continues to out perform all other equity asset classes. Emerging markets are the surprise under-performer but made a dramatic move in March in a catch-up play.
Bonds are next and WIP is awesome!

If you go back a read my expectations written on January 1, 2011, the quarter played out as expected. Let us hope I was wrong about the coming two quarters. One big concern is the U.S. Dollar fell 4.5 percent and the SPY was up about 5.0 percent, so did your wealth grow in Q1? What about after taxes?
