I have changed my mind on CSCO
I friend mentioned my post last month about CSCO "What to do with CSCO now" and was sorry to see a negative call. Ooops, I had just put CSCO in client accounts as part of the Large Cap allocation for 2011.
What changed by my mind? I saw a couple of advertisements over the holidays of CSCO's video chat over your TV. OMG, finally a consumer product that will drive image. CSCO is the backbone of the internet age. AAPL with Iphones and Ipads would still be a niche computer company and Google, Facebook and Twitter would not exist at all.
No, I was wrong and given the discount CSCO is trading relative to QQQQ and SPY. Make CSCO ten percent of your Large Cap allocation. So if you have $100,000 of SPY, sell $10,000 of SPY and buy $10,000 of CSCO and smile, you just did something really smart.
