What does an exit point look like?
What is your favorite signal for exiting a position? When do you know the market is over-bought and heading lower? When do you know it is a market top?
As we evaluate the markets impressive rally from the March 2009 lows and we are back a pre-Lehman levels in Global indexes should we be looking for an exit? Brian Wesbury, First Trust made a compelling argument on the bullish side today on Bloomberg TV.
For me, when the 20 day is a long ways above or below the 50 day, and the both of them are a ways off the 200 day moving average, I am looking to take profits or go long.
