Time to change your asset allocation

If you are a disciplined investor you probably have an asset allocation that reflects your investment time horizon, liquidity needs, tax situation and risk tolerance.  First congratulations good investment habits make investing in these interesting times less stressful and more profitable.

First, re-balance now.  There should be some large distortions in your asset allocation given the price changes by asset class.  I see these distortions as opportunities.

Second, consider changing your asset allocation where you would increase your risk level for the next couple of years.  It is not often you can make two smart investment decisions in one move by selling high and buying low.  Sell Bonds - Buy Stocks.

Emerging Markets (EEM) will make you happy!
