Ten years of equity performance
A client was looking at ten year charts of the Dow Jones Industrial Average and the Standard and Poors 500 so I figured I better look at it to see what they were talking about. Being the advisor, I could not accept the clients' chart as is, so I added the EAFE and the Japan ETF.
Not sure what the main point of the chart is? Weak dollar, establishing a new global down trend, long-term support is below current levels, EAFE can fall more than US or Japan.

DING DING DING did the idea of shorting Europe cross your mind? It did mine. If EAFE has performed this well compared to its two biggests components, US and Japan; Europe must have produced the bulk of the excess performance.
