It is about time to buy emerging markets
In two previous postings I suggested that the emerging markets were about to be whacked by twenty percent, (November 2007 11/1/07 and Emerging Markets 11/19/2007). Now that the emerging markets have been whacked 20 percent, I think you better get your wallets out, it is time to buy.
Below is a five year chart of EEM, and in those five years you have had four opportunities to buy EEM below the 200 moving average. Now the only question is when to buy? Look at each break below the 200 day moving average and it tells you you have a few days maybe even a two weeks to load up.
Is there downside risk? Yes! $100 - $110 looks like a solid base and it is possible, not probable that we could test that base.
Eyes wide open, money is in the air.
