Stem cells
There was news about human stem cells working in rats. Wow, these stem cells are really versitile. Two things are going to drive prices on stem cell stocks.
First, they work and as the research successes pile up the pressure to expand research, development and use will increase. These stem cell companies are going to become revenue stories not just medical stories.
Second, we are going to lose President Bush in 2008 and he has been the obstacale to expanded research and use. The successes in research will make it very difficult for any national elected person so oppose stem cell harvest, research and development of applications that save lives.
In both cases stem cells and the companies that work with them have a bright future. At least I hope so because in about 20 years I am going to need those applications developed.
