Sowed the Oats today!
I sowed my oats this morning and got my twenty percent. It didn't even take all quarter, thanks Judge. What to do from here? The Oats cash is on the side lines but EWJ at 13.51 does not look bad. I am mad at myself for not buying FXY at 84.41 when a friend and I discussed the Yen Carry reversal trade. I might have to pinch my nose a take some above 88 since we are a long way from de-leveraging the system. We are going to have a much smaller economy without all the leverage and the street is not ready for large declines in employment, production, capacity. I would hate to be long energy here, short might prove extremely profitable.
Today's important take away: De-levering an economy is similar to taking a football player off steriods. It is ugly but everyone will be better off in the end.
