Gas prices

Consider as gasoline prices break above $4 a gallon, people will stay home, or go to malls.  Gasoline consumption may go down, but air conditioning will go up dramatically.  Carrier, York, Lennox might deserve a peak as well as spot market electricity producers.  Given the huge increase in demand of electricity, the grid will fail at some point this summer, August or September.

There will be a two pronged approach to solving the grid crisis:  Distributed production will become the buzz word in Washington D.C.  and you will want to be long turbine manufacturers and other small scale generators.  Washington D.C. in unprecedented bi-partisan efforts will eliminate any and all impediments to a nationalized electrical grid.  In the same un-precedented bi-partisan effort, an energy policy and plan will initiated.
