It is a new year!

    Wow, 2007 and I have entered the blog o sphere as an investment advisor.  Themes for the coming year in my humble opinion in no particular order:

  1. Buy FXE 129 and below - sell above 147
  2. Over-weight EWJ
  3. Over-weight  EFA
  4. Small caps are suppose to outperform - keep them
  5. Look for growth to outperform value big time in the US
  6. If you must own bonds make sure TIP is included
  7. No ETF choice for interational bonds - I use RPIBX when I want the exposure and I do for bond allocations
  8. Mortgages will hurt returns - avoid at all cost
  9. Buy single Country ETF for emerging market and avoid EEM
  10. Global growth will drive returns for 2007
